When we replated the rear bumper off Bob’s 1956 DeSoto Fireflite Sportsman, nicknamed “Shelly,” a couple of years back, our inspectors caught a rough spot along the top edge so small that Bob had never noticed it himself; you could only feel it with a fingernail. We flagged it and made sure it was addressed before the bumper went back on the car. Bob was kind enough to let us use his bumper photos here on our blog, and we were happy to take 30% off the job as a thank-you.
