COPPER BUFFING & POLISH

If you compare chrome plating to automotive paint, copper is like the primer. It creates a brilliant foundation for further polished surfaces. And like automotive primer, it needs to be smooth before any other layers are applied. So after we add our "base" layer of copper, we buff and polish it to an extreme shine.

Starting with 1,000 grit sandpaper and finishing with a fine buffer, we set to work on the copper, smoothing out even the tiniest scratches and imperfections. Believe it or not, if we don't use this step, it will affect the luster of the finished product, which is still a few steps away. Preparation is everything.
